Finally and
after a long time we have emptied an old cowshed that was used for old
clunkers’ storage and we have set the scene for a new hall of celebrations.
This one will be destined for the celebrations of a variety of events. It has
about 100 m² ,
a small bar and toilets.
The launch party
was held by the Cuban-born dancer Sandra Bara and the local flamenco group Retales
from Mairena.

This space
is designed so it can be used for celebrations in which one wants to perform
anything indoors. It fits 70 seated guests and 120 standing.
And of
course, the walls of this room have been delighted with voices and vibrations
of a superlative level. From our beloved Gautama del Campo, a saxophonist from
Seville who won the “Filón de Oro” as the best flamenco instrumentalist (2015,
IV edition of the international “Festival del Cante de las Minas”) to the
psychedelic group Hipnotika, led by Edna Brezinska

This room’s
decoration features both classical elements (on chairs, tables and door) and
other less traditional elements such as the roof itself as a geodesic dome with
a style designed and built by local artist and neighbor Américo Parrilla.

“La Nave Verde” event hall can be completely
rented, but it is possible to rent specific parts of its complex as well.
In the
front area outside it has a warm terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful
sunset.

Almodobar
is a charming bar heated by a fireplace and it may hold business lunches,
gatherings of friends and so on...

Ethel Cebrian.
We have
also carried out painting workshops, activities such as yoga, capoeira and many
others!
Ah! And our
first painting exhibition by local artists was a success!
And not to
forget “Los Labios”, who made the salon their own, singing and flowing rock'n roll
for almost a month between these walls. What a great atmosphere!

Last summer, from Thursday to Sunday, we enjoyed the terrace of Almodobar. Coming summer: cinema on Thursdays and long talks, nights with friends on the weekend. A good choice to find the coolness in the countryside.
The current schedule is from Thursday to Sunday from 19h to closing time for language meetings (and of course) Saturdays and Sundays from 12h to 00h. We wait for you!
